摘要：
A critique of the literature that androgen deficit underlies women's sexual dysfunctions is provided. Although there is scant evidence that androgens are responsible, many aspects of androgen activity remain to be investigated. Research does link serum levels of dehydroepiandrosterone (DHEA) to women's sexual desire but apparently not via DHEA's androgenic activity. Current assessment and management of women's sexual dysfunction are summarized. © 2020 Elsevier Inc.
