摘要：
This paper discusses Congestion Relief using Immediate Assignment on TCH. Impact of various Immediate Assignment strategies and their implementation in a live network are discussed Impact of CBCH and alleviation of resulting congestion by Immediate Assignment has been computed. Effect of paging load has also been discussed. Impact of Immediate Assignment on SMS, Location Updates, IMSI Attach/Detach Directed Retry and LAPD concentration has also been analyzed. Impact of Immediate Assignment on TCH strategy on Phase1 and Phase2 mobile stations and Statistical Counters is also discussed. Detailed Analytical Results for each Channel Allocation Profile are presented.
