Corrosion behavior of Ti3SiC2 and siliconized Ti3SiC2 in the mixture of K2CO3 and Li2CO3 melts at 750 °C

摘要:
The corrosion behavior of Ti3SiC2 and siliconized Ti3SiC2 in the mixture of K2CO3 and Li2CO3 melts at 750°C was studied. The silicide coating was prepared by pack cementation process and the oxidation behavior of the coated sample was investigated. The results revealed that the silicide layer suffered from more serious attack than Ti3SiC2.
