摘要
Thermal energy transfer across solid liquid (S-L) interfaces has an important role in identifying the performance of a system. In the past there are a number of study that look into thermal energy transfer at S-L interfaces, however the influence of liquid film thickness has yet to be explored. As such, this paper will elaborate the influence of liquid film thickness on the thermal energy transfer at S-L interfaces. It is found that, the temperature discontinuity, velocity discontinuity and heat flux increase as the distance of liquid film decrease.
