摘要
Flux-switching permanent-magnet machines with multi-tooth stator structure have attracted wide attention due to their advantages of high torque density and high efficiency. Based on it, a fault-tolerant multi-tooth flux-switching permanentmagnet machine (FTMFSPM) is proposed and compared to the conventional fault-tolerant flux-switching permanent- magnet (FTFSPM) machine. In order to evaluate the electromagnetic performance of proposed FTMFSPM machine, a comparison of the electromagnetic performance of proposed FTMFSPM machine and conventional FTFSPM machine is conducted by finite-element analysis (FEA), and the FEA-predicted results indicate that the proposed FTMFSPM machine exhibits better electromagnetic performances than FTFSPM machine, such as more sinusoidal and larger back EMF, high average torque, smaller torque ripple, higher self-inductance and lower mutualinductance.
