摘要：
The Coanda effect is present in both external and internal flows, from which practical applications are yielded. In this paper four possible applications of the Coanda effect are presented: jet on a Coanda surface with a thin channel, jet blown over the flap of an airfoil, the thrust vectoring by means of a secondary jet in the presence of a Coanda surface (for internal flow) and the propulsion of the so-called "flying saucers". The aim of the research is to identify the efficiency and limits of the application of this effect and also methods to enhance the Coanda effect. The flow analysis is done by CFD.
