摘要
Thermal expansion Delta L/L(T) and magnetic susceptibility chi(T) in various magnetic fields H applied along the [1 1 0] direction of the single-crystalline DyB6 have been investigated under hydrostatic pressures up to 1 GPa, At ambient pressure, it is found that Delta L/L(T) in H = 1 T shows a rapid decrease at T-M ( = 23 K), which is not observed in zero field. As H increases T-M decreases largely and the discontinuous change in Delta L/L at T-M becomes pronounced. On the other hand, no anomalous behavior in chi(T) curves has been observed at T-M BY the application of pressure, the transition at T-M is found to be rapidly suppressed and disappear at high pressure above 0.3 GPa.
