摘要：

There are many challenges in rolling out a large ERP system across a large multi-region enterprise. Hardware requirements, software changes, business changes, data migration, training and resource allocation are some of the issues that need to be addressed during such a roll out. This paper focuses on another critical issue which is design and development of interfaces between the plant MES system and the ERP system. A reliable, efficient and transparent interface mechanism is critical in ensuring a smooth and sustained integration.
