摘要
Clinical ana haemato-biochemical parameters were studied in 35 dairy buffaloes with overgrown hooves. In majority of the cases of overgrown hooved buffaloes significant fall in rumen motility along with lameness, reduced appetite and constipation was observed, Haematological indices showed a significant fall in Hb, PCV and TEC with nonsignificant rise in TLC along with differential leukocyte count showing neutropenia, lymphocytosis and slight rise in monocytes. Biochemical alterations revealed significant rise in CPK, ALP, AST, ALT and TPP concentrations in overgrown hooved dairy buffaloes as compared to respective mean levels in healthy control dairy buffaloes.
