摘要
This article deals with the possibilities of utilizing content management systems in education. Since the 90's digital technologies have been used in education in the Czech Republic and their gradual introduction to education took place according to several national concepts. Seeing the results of the Czech School Inspection it is, however, clear that digital aids and tools are used only to a limited extent. First an analysis of existing extensions to content management systems is made (Joomla! and Wordpress). Through the method of detailed interviews with teachers of an elementary and a secondary school the demands on a learning system are defined. Questions of the interview were focused mainly on the subject Geography with specialization in digitalizing tests with blank maps. On the basis of all the findings an educational component is designed and implemented for the content management system Joomla! focused on the issue of blank maps. From practical trials at an elementary and a secondary school it is apparent that this component could be used not only in the lessons of Geography but also in other subjects where geographical representation could be useful.
