摘要
David Alan Grier, an associate professor of international science and technology policy at George Washington University, explains that invention and discovery are both creative acts, and both require new ideas within a context or infrastructure. He admits that in a very short span of time, people have altered the framework that they used to evaluate the invention of computing. Muhammad Yunus, the recipient of the 2006 Nobel Peace Prize, has been responsible for changing the framework used to plan finance in poor countries. Yunus founded Grameen Bank, which gives small loans, as little as $5.00 to poor women. The act of creating and testing ideas can lead to the conclusion that national institutions are broken and need to be fixed. According to the author, the rule of three successive yes answers provides an excellent way to communicate with children and is also a practical way for dealing with adults.
