David Alan Grier, an associate professor of international science and technology policy at George Washington University, explains that invention and discovery are both creative acts, and both require new ideas within a context or infrastructure. Yunus founded Grameen Bank, which gives small loans, as little as $5.00 to poor women. The act of creating and testing ideas can lead to the conclusion that national institutions are broken and need to be fixed.
