摘要
The a.c. conductivity and dielectric properties of the glass system B2O3-BaO-Pb3O4-Fe2O3-TiO2 have been investigated for different Fe2O3-TiO2 ratios, while the content of B2O3, BaO, and Pb3O4 were kept constant and equal to 60, 20, and 5 mol%, respectively. The results of the a.c. conductivity could be explained in terms of the correlated barrier hopping and the overlapping large-polaron tunneling models. The dielectric properties have also been investigated considering the dipolar relaxation model. A good agreement between the experimental data and the Cole-Cole equation have been obtained. The addition of small amounts of TiO2 strongly affected the dielectric properties of the glasses under investigation. (C) 2002 Kluwer Academic Publishers.
