Patterns of development of morpho-functional disorders of the heart and great vessels in children with hereditary determined connective tissue dysplasia in ontogenesis

Seven hundred thirty seven children aged 3 - 15 years with different clinical presentations of hereditary - determined connective tissue dysplasia were examined. The results were used for elaboration of mechanisms and consistent patterns of development of morpho-functional cardio-vascular abnormalities on different stages of ontogenesis in these children and for formulation of criteria for early diagnosis. It was found that children with Marfan's syndrome had dysraphia and high frequency of intracardiac micro anomalies which determined severity of the disease.
