摘要
Russian literature has been warmly welcomed since New Literary Movement which happened on 4 May 1911, while Russian modernism, which includes symbolism, acmeism and futurism, is disesteemed. As an important literary phenomenon, Russian modernism is wildly known in modem China. Meanwhile, European modernism is also accepted in modem China. The reasons for this paradox lie not only in the complexity of Russian modernism, the difference among Russian modernism, realism and left-wing literature, but also in the translation and introduction of Russian modernism in the Chinese academic world. This paper traces the transmission of Russian modernism in modem China by the method of knowledge archaeology, aiming to represent the basic situation of the difficult journey of Russian modernism in China.
