摘要
This study is one of a research series to develop the new, splicing construction method for the multispan concrete bridges where the span length is in the range of 30m to 45m. The unique structural characteristic is to improve the structural efficiency of super structure by the secondary moment. In this paper, the procedure of the new splicing technique is introduced and the flexural behavior of a continuous bridge of two spans with a span length of 40m, designed in accordance with the new continuity method, is discussed. As a result, the proposed method should be regarded as a effective splicing method. The method can transform the self-weight moment of precast main girders in the simple beam state into the moment seems to occur originally in the continuous beam state.
