ICT and Economy Slovenia and Czech Republic Experience

摘要
ICT (Information and Communication Technology) sector became the most important driver of innovation processes in all countries in the world in the last period. Different innovations are supported by different ways and ICT have multiplication synergy effects on innovation in other sectors of a state economy. Comparison of main ICT sector indicators of Slovenia and Czech Republic is presented in this contribution. Main identified ICT indicators are: share of ICT specialists on economic active population, its structure in two dimensions - Computing professionals and Computer associate professionals, expenses on information technology and on communication technology in economy and investments into the research a development work. Based on these indicators is presented the future probably development of these two countries after overwhelming the crisis and/or stagnation period.
