Enrichment and distribution of anionic detergents and phosphorus in the coastal waters of the Eastern Adriatic

摘要：
The paper presents long-term observation of anionic detergents (AD) and phosphates (PO4-P) in waters of the Eastern Adriatic. Annual means of AD and PO4-P have shown that AD values are considerably higher (even double) in the vicinity of Sibenik and Split than elsewhere and up to ten times comparing with the open sea station. Higher PO4-P concentrations at the same stations point to the strong impact of urban and industrial effluents on the receiving environment.
