摘要
In recent years, with the increasing economic growth of the Mekong River Basin countries, the demand for energy and electricity is also growing. However, there is complementarity in the supply and demand of electricity among countries in the basin. The international electricity trade among countries in the Mekong River basin can realize the optimal allocation of resources among countries and achieve the goal of mutual benefit. In this paper, an optimal dispatching model for thermal generating units considering hydropower in the Mekong River basin and Yunnan Province, China is presented. Finally, through a concrete example, it is verified that the cost of generation will be significantly reduced after the establishment of a multinational power market in the region.
