Government-Industry-Education-Research Collaboration in Tourism: University's Perspective

To respond to the global concerns about academia and practice collaboration, this article addresses the importance of Government-Industry-Education-Research collaboration, demonstrates some practices, and explores the nature of the relationships from educational institutions' perspective. We live in a world requiring collaboration with different types of stakeholders in different contexts and geographic locations. Therefore, a good and deep understanding of the macro and micro environments of collaboration and a deep understanding of the collaborators is important.
