摘要
Using the surface charge density/surface potential relationship for a spherical colloidal particle with high surface potential, a simple expression for the relationship of the apparent acid constant with the degree of dissociation of surface silanol groups of silica with different sizes is derived. The present formula has good agreement with literature values and is quite simple for practical use.
