摘要
This paper presents a distributed query processing method for an agent-based architecture called DECA. The goal of DECA is to support semantic cooperation among information systems by allowing: (1) information sharing in a heterogeneous environment by means of syntactic and semantic translation between a data receiver and one or more data providers, (2) dynamic and transparent discovery of data providers and (3) a query processing strategy that allows one or more data providers to cooperate on producing the results of a query. Multi-agents systems are used to allow decentralised management and dynamic reconfiguration of the cooperative environment.
