A Study on Particularity in Body Feature of 4-6 years old Children in Henan Area

摘要
Henan is a province which has the largest population in China, where children have unique body feature under the influence of natural conditions, dietary structure, and living habits. In the study, 4-6 years old children in different counties and cities in Henan area were chosen as objects, whose body measurement was done for the purpose of garment production. And twenty-two monitoring items were chosen to be measured. Effective body measuremen data for 531 children was obtained after screening all the body measuremen data. By using SAS software, correlation analysis and regression analysis had been carried out towards the body measuremen data. Children's body feature was discussed. By principal component analysis to extract the five main components: the 11 selected will be basically summed up the situation of children in the characteristics of size measure; obtained by regression analysis of the main measurement site and height of children, bust and hip measurements of regression equation. Study on 4-6 years old children's body feature a will provide data and basis for researchers who study children's bodily form and enterprises which manufacture children's clothing and articles.
