摘要
In order to assess new subgrid-scale models for a passive scalar, several large eddy simulations of a turbulent channel flow with passive scalar are carried out. These models are not based on the classical Fickian approximation and do not induce necessarily an alignment between the SGS heat flux vector and the gradient of the resolved temperature. Six SGS models are investigated, on two grids. The results are compared with DNS results obtained by Kawamura et al. [2].
