The Anticipation of Carbon Emission of Hubei Province in the Future through the Energy Consumption

The carbon emission generated by energy consumption is the byproduct during the economic growth, and the accumulation of the greenhouse gas in the atmosphere will lead to the global warming. Therefore, the relation between economic growth and carbon emission is not only the central issue recently, but the hot point among the academic circles as well. In order to deal with global warming, the Chinese government also put forward the restriction target of carbon emission from 2005 to 2020.In this paper, the author uses the basic method for carbon emission and 2005 as the base year to measure and calculate the carbon emission generated by energy consumption of Huber Province after 2005 through the estimation of GDP, and finally get a trend graph of carbon emission, which may lay foundations for Hubei government's further target or provide a method for other governments.
