摘要
The exercise capacity of patients with McArdle disease deteriorates and functional capacity declines in time because of avoidance of cramp and pain related to exercise. We detected beneficial effects on functional capacity and quality of life induced by supervised low intensity (3-8 of Borg scale of perceived exertion, 5-44% intensity) aerobic exercise program for one month including five walking sessions (30-45 minute/session) per week in two patients. This result reveals the positive effects of low intensity aerobic exercise in these patients, even if it's for a short term.
