摘要
The effects of electromagnetic (EM) fields on human head model with cochlear implant in different shielded spaces are presented in this article. There are differences between specific absorption rate (SAR) close to human head model inside shielded space like in elevator or train and non-shielded space (open area). In the presented approach, the investigation is focused on modelling of EM field were realized using the finite integration method. The simulations were carried out for specific scenario where a person/passenger was placed in the different shielded spaces using a mobile phone. The results were evaluated in terms of the SAR values - the determination of EM energy absorption inside the human head. The PIFA antenna with a frequency of 900 MHz and 1800 MHz was designed as radio frequency source. In the proposed matching method, SAM homogenous human head model with hand and in hand PIFA antenna as a source of EM field- was chosen to model six different distances of the mobile phone from the human head surface. Our results have shown that the maximal SAR values obtained by numerical simulations in shielded/enclosure areas (such as the elevator or train) are higher than are SAR maximum values recommended in the European standards limit. Besides, those values achieved in shielded/enclosure areas are higher than the open space simulations results.
