摘要
Employers have highlighted the importance of transversal competences in the career of young professionals. This necessity has been taken into account in the adaptation of curricula to the European Higher Education Area. Under this scenario, the Universitat Politecnica de Valencia (UPV) has defined thirteen transversal competences that students should acquire before obtaining a degree. In order to assess the acquisition of these competences, some courses in the different degrees have been considered as checkpoints of certain competences. This is the case of a course in Project Management taught at the master level. This course has been considered as a checkpoint of two transversal competences: "Design and Project" and "Time Planning and Management". This paper describes how these transversal competences have been considered in the planning and design of the course. This description includes an evaluation rubric that has been designed to assess and certify the level of acquisition of these competences.
