摘要
Copper slag is an industrial waste generated during extraction and refining of copper. An attempt has been made to assess the suitability of copper slag as partial replacement of virgin fine aggregate in hot mix asphalt (HMA). The performance evaluation of dense bituminous macadam (DBM) containing 0%, 5%, 10%, 15%, 20% & 25% copper slag was carried out through resilient modulus, tensile strength ratio, dynamic creep, and fatigue resistance tests. The results revealed better performance of DBM containing copper slag as partial replacement of fine aggregate. (C) 2020 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
