Inverse hydrodynamic design of centrifugal pump impeller

摘要
The governing equations, numerical computational scheme and design procedure are introduced for quasi-three-dimensional inverse hydrodynamic design method for blades based on the stream surface S-2m (i.e., the bound vortex sheet). The flows of water in two centrifugal pump impellers, which have been investigated by using LDV, are calculated by using this method in the direct problem mode, and the error of this method is less than 15%. The algorithm for the inverse hydrodynamic design is quickly convergent through the design of impeller of the centrifugal pump of type IS80-65-160 with the specific speed 93. The results show that the quasi-three-dimensional inverse hydrodynamic design method for blades can be used in the centrifugal pump impeller design.
