A new configuration of all-pass filter-based tunable chromatic dispersion compensator utilizing silica waveguide ring resonators having Mach-Zehnder interferometer without crossing point was proposed and fabricated. FSR of 24GHz and tuning range of +/-1280ps/nm was confirmed.
