UML modeling research to CLDC specification

J2ME(Java 2 Micro Edition) is a small version of Java for small devices. Inherited advantages of Java, J2ME has become the standard platform of developing wireless and embedded applications. Connected Limited Device Configuration (CLDC) is the cornerstone of J2ME. The CLDC specification defines the minimum required complement of Java technology components and libraries for small connected devices. UML (Unified Modeling Language) is a kind of well-defined and powerful oriented-object modeling language in Industry. Use case model, class diagram and interaction model are basically the models of UML. We construct these models for the CLDC specification based on UML. Firstly, we conclude four packages: process-management package, memory-management package, I/O-management package and assistance-management package. Then we construct the models for I/O-management package.
