摘要：

The paper describes the specification, installation and commissioning of anew beam centrifuge at the University of Nottingham, UK. The centrifuge is essentially a 50 g-T machine, with 2.0 m platform radius. Maximum acceleration is 150 g and maximum payload is 500 kg (up to 100 g). The paper describes the machine, data acquisition system, and laboratory.
