摘要
A new antenna using a loaded chip resistor is proposed. It achieves a broadened bandwidth while ensuring a good radiation efficiency. The benefit is that the antenna has a small profile of 43 mm x 5 mm, which is easy to integrate in various small routers. The antenna is printed on an FR4 board and fed through a 50 ohm characteristic impedance microstrip line. It has an impedance bandwidth (|S-11|<-10dB) of 2.4G similar to 2.47GHz (Wi-Fi 2.4GHz band) and 5.23G similar to 6.61GHz (Wi-Fi 5GHz band).
