Lewis acid-catalyzed trans-carbosilylation of alkynes with propargyl- and allenyltrimethylsilanes produces the corresponding silylated 1,4-enynes and vinylallenes regio- and stereoselectively. (C) 2000 Elsevier Science Ltd. All rights reserved.
