摘要
The quality of the university education of future teachers is of vital importance for their adequate professional performance. In this way, the objective of this research is to evaluate the perception of the acquisition of instrumental competences of university students during their training as a teacher and satisfaction with the training received. METHOD. The methodology used in this work is framed within non-experimental designs, of a quantitative nature. The instrument used, of 41 items, has been applied to a sample of 247 students in the 4th year of a Bachelor's Degree in Primary Education at the Complutense University of Madrid. The results show average levels in linguistic competences and in the domain of the subject and results with low or very low levels in methodological aspects, use of resources, as well as in the satisfaction with the teaching system and with the training received throughout the degree. The differential studies reveal higher results levels in the acquisition of Competences and in the Satisfaction of the students who have attended the afternoon shift, those who attend class more and those who have between 1 and 3 subjects pending. Through a cluster analysis, three different profiles of students were defined: the first made up of students who feel better trained (although with medium levels), the second by those with a medium to low level and the third with low or very low levels. The results allow us to identify weaknesses in the training of future teachers that can serve as a reference to propose improvements in university education.
