摘要
The purpose of this paper is to design a manual stair climbing wheelchair. Through the adoption of the planet wheel conversion device and four wheel climbing gear, so as to realize the smooth transformation of two states of wheelchair, which are walking on flat ground and walking up and down the stairs. In addition, in order to improve the comfort and security of the stair climbing wheelchair users, the wheelchair also added seat leveling device. The paper includes the scheme selection of stair climbing wheelchair, structural calculation, obstacle capability analysis, stability analysis and so on. The power source of the wheelchair is manual energy, as a result, it can not only save energy but also easy to control. Through analysis and research, the conclusion is that a manual stair climbing wheelchair is a rational design, and it can work reliably.
