摘要
This article is a continuation of our paper 'Warp-Knitted Interlock Stitches - New Stitch Group. Concept of Formation and Structure' published in issue No 1/2004 of 'Fibres & Textiles in Eastern Europe'. The technology of warp-knitted interlock fabrics, which differ from the generally known traditional stitches by the location of loops in the stitch, was the subject of the above-mentioned paper. The location of loops in the stitch structure, which differs from traditional structures, also causes a change in the knitted fabric properties. The article presented herein describes the investigation results of research into the structural parameters of warp-knitted interlock fabrics and of fabrics manufactured by traditional technology. Knitted fabrics obtained by interlock stitches are a totally new test material. An estimation of the structural properties of interlock knitted fabrics compared with the properties of traditional knittings was carried out.
