Nonstationary supersonic flow around conical bodies

摘要
The accelerated or decelerated motion of conical bodies and wedges at supersonic speed in a gas at rest is analysed numerically in order to determine the shape of the attached shock wave using a TVD-scheme for the solution of the Eulerian and compressible Navier-Stokes equations. According to Cabannes' analytical results [Cabannes (51)(52)(54)] the curvature of the attached shock waves at the nose of the bodies is calculated for different values of the acceleration or deceleration of the bodies starting from a given constant flight Mach number. The numerical results are compared with the data given by Cabannes.
