摘要
Conventional background subtraction methods are susceptible to quick illumination changes which often result in a drastic increase of false positives. Presented is a background subtraction method that combines shape and colour information to robustly detect foreground objects in various illumination conditions. Experiments show that the proposed method outperforms conventional approaches.
