Covariant Equations of Motion of a Spin 1/2 Particle in an Electromagnetic Field with Allowance for Polarizabilities

摘要
On the basis of a relativistic field-theoretic approach, equations for the interaction of an electromagnetic field with spin 1/2 hadrons have been constructed which take account of polarizabilities and anomalous magnetic moments. With the help of the Green's function method of solving these equations the Compton scattering amplitude has been calculated with allowance for the polarizabilities of spin 1/2 particles. The magnetic and electric quasistatic polarizabilities have been computed for a spinor particle using the technique of calculating the matrix elements of Compton scattering.
