摘要
In fulfilling the commitment towards climate goals, widespread deployment of climate change mitigation technologies (CCMTs) is involved in reduction and adaptation of climate change. Such scheme of technologies mainly finds their application to promote a desired transition towards low carbon system such as energy transition using smart girds. The growing importance from scholars and organizations in understanding and adopting sustainability using technology is well supported in literature. This study helps in identifying such technological evolution by linking the scientific knowledge and technological trajectory. In this paper CCMT's are studied from the viewpoint of disseminating technical innovation to support sustainability. First, bibliometric information on the scientific knowledge of CCMT is studied and then the classification scheme of CPC (Cooperative Patent Classification) with the analysis of patent data of Y02/Y04S scheme is considered to access the patent database. The result shows the evolution of scientific knowledge are aligned with the technological changes, but there is a need to diverse them across the geographies. It provided the relevant technologies information to roadmap the application and need. The implications and results of the study are used for guiding strategic management and R&D.
