Limited Flooding Routing Protocol Based on Geographical Information in Wireless Sensor Networks

摘要
An efficient routing protocol is very important in wireless sensor networks. In this paper, a routing protocol named GRLF is designed. It is a limited flooding routing protocol which is based on the sensor nodes' geographical information. The routing protocol uses the nodes' geographical information and adopts limited flooding routing to transmit data packets. The use of the nodes' geographical information can reduce the network's energy consumption effectively when the route is built. The network with GRLF has less energy consumption than that with flooding routing protocol, but it nearly has the same robustness as the network with flooding routing protocol.
