摘要：
Accelerated corrosion tests can be a useful tool in evaluating materials for service life consideration and component enhancement. When used improperly, however, these tests can provide misleading information based on unrealistic assumptions and use of the test method(s). By considering the corrosion and durability variables, selecting or designing an appropriate test, and recognizing limitations in the method, accelerated corrosion testing can be an extremely useful and valuable tool.
