摘要
The paper presents the use of wavelet packet transform for a non-sinusoidal mode analysis of power supply systems taking into account the actual heating of conducting parts. Higher harmonics cause additional heating of conducting parts, and consequently, there is an increase in power and energy losses. The range of resistance variation in the operating temperature range can substantially affect the estimated value of losses. The accounting of actual heating will allow one to specify the feasibility study in selecting and implementing measures on higher harmonics filtering in power supply systems. The wavelet packet transform has a number of advantages compared to the Fourier transform in analyzing non-sinusoidal modes. The use of the wavelet packet transform is proposed in this paper for analyzing non-stationary modes of power supply systems.
