摘要：
A new species in Agaricus section Xanthodermatei, Agaricus rubripes sp. nov., collected from southern China is described and illustrated based on both morphological characters and molecular analysis of internal transcribed spacer (ITS) sequences. Agaricus rubripes sp. nov. is characterized by its gray cloud pileus with carbon gray fibrillose squamules, and irregular margin, smooth and silky stipe, small white annulus, usually 2-spored basidia, pileipellis hyphae containing light brown to brown vacuolar pigment and context lacking color change on cutting.
