摘要：
The field of overvoltage protection of electric equipments is still actual because overvoltages have negative influence on insulating system and oftentimes electromagnetic interference occurs. This interference can initiate incorrect operation of electric equipment or its failure. In low voltage distribution systems overvoltages are generated either by consumer or by transforming from primary to secondary (low voltage) of transformer. In this article we introduce measuring system for overvoltage observation, its application in low voltage systems and evaluation of measured switching overvoltages.
