Some social-cultural factors of foundation of scientific schools in Russian psychology in the 20-40 years of XX century (by the evidences of A.N. Leontyev's school)

Some social-cultural factors of scientific schools development in Russian psychology at the period from the second half of twenties until the beginning of the forties were revealed. Such factors as collective character of the scientific work and the peculiarities of scientists' motivation were marked as significant in the development of scientific schools, particularly A.N. Leontyev's (1903-1979) school. Archives and unpublished letters were used in the investigation.
