摘要：
The prediction of fatigue cracking on flexible pavements can be done more reliably if the mechanistic model is based on linear elastic fracture mechanics. The traditional procedure of trying to define 'shift factors' to calibrate laboratory fatigue laws is shown to be inconsistent with experimental field data.
