摘要
In this paper, we have studied the fault detection of wireless sensor networks, where sensors are random deployed in the 100*100 area. We focused on the election strategy of probe station node and the rule of dynamic adjusting probing frequency. We also study the distribution of fault locations and the change rule of fault number. Our results suggest that using probability method to elect nodes as probe station nodes will evenly distribute the energy load among the sensors in the network and then prolong the lifetime. Additionally, adjust the probing frequency will reduce useless probing packets and then reduce wasting energy. The results obtained provide useful guideline to the fault management.
