摘要：

In 1965, Gordon Moore predicted that the number of transistors on a chip would double every year for the next 10 years. Moore's law is still in effect today, with more than a billion transistors able to fit on a chip as of 2010. This article revisits Moore's law and the rise of microelectronics. © 2015 IEEE.
